Facilitated by Adam Malapa and Lester Baloyi on behalf of Treatment Action Campaign, the training has bee successful and has met almost all the expectations of the trainees. 12 employees which are to work as peer educators were trained.
Stevens Lumber Mills (SLM) is a company located outside Boyne on the border of Capricorm and Mopani District Municipalities which is specialising in timber. The firm has experienced an unexpected fire last year on one of its drying shed, but its so amazing seeing the construction of the shed again. It has more than 800 employees in different sections and has several plantation areas in the province.
They manufacture kappa which are sold directly to the consumers and to wholesalers and hardware as far as Gauteng Province.
